Hiking down the trail can be a little harrowing. Wear sure-footed
shoes or boots.
A large serpentinite outcrop at the bottom of the trail provides the
backdrop for Jade Hunting.
The idea is to find rocks you like, not necessarily jade.
The coast in this part of California is just spectacular.
The famous Big Creek Bridge in the distance (not to be confused with
Bixby Bridge just up the road). |
